Devils Tower - Sacred To Many People Mission Statement:

The program is involved in the raising of funds to purchase materials to be donated to health, education and general welfare programs already established on Native American Reservations to help improve the quality of life for those living there. Funds will also be directed to National Park Service approved projects that lead to a safer climbing environment at Devils Tower National Monument. Funds will also be directed to health, education and general welfare programs for those ranchers and residents living in the Devils Tower area.
We desire to open and support lines of communication and sharing that lead to mutual benefit and understanding between all groups of people that find this Tower Sacred.

1. Improve the Quality of Life for Native Americans Living on Reservations.

2. Improve the Quality of Life for Local Devils Tower, Wyoming Ranchers and Residents.

3. Improve Public Safety at Devils Tower National Monument, for both climbers and visitors, by working with the National Park Service, through approved programs and practices.

We desire to open and support, lines of communication and sharing, between all groups of people that find this Tower Sacred. Our Goal is mutual benefit and understanding.

Devils Tower Sacred To Many People, Inc. purpose is to bring individuals who care about the sacred nature of this place in the world together to benefit each other.

Funding:

Funding for this program will be obtained from donations from guests at Devils Tower Lodge, people who climb with Frank Sanders and other interested parties, sale of posters, grants and donations via this website from visitors all over the world who share the common interest and bond of the power of Devils Tower.

Uses of Funds:

Funds will be used to research and determine need and physical location, purchase materials to be donated, and to pay operating costs of the Corporation. Read more in detail here.

The Way It Works:

Funds will be accepted as they are donated and deposited directly in a timely manner into the Corporation’s bank account. Once a year or when an amount determined by the Board of Directors has been reached, said funds will be used to purchase identified materials and then delivered to an identified program. As the Corporation finds success, the Board of Directors may consider an application process. Read more on fund raising here. Devils Tower - Sacred To Many People is a federally recognized, card-carrying 501c3 not-for-profit organization, complete with the ability to take in donations and give out tax receipts to individuals and corporations who would like to join us in do-gooding.
